Still alive…

Over the last week, I’ve had two people mention to me that they’ve taken a look at this blog — both times made me cringe, since it’s so hugely out of date.
Since the last post I’ve moved from Frankfurt to Cambridge (UK), jacked-in the academic career, and started a company with the aforementioned Andrew and Toby. We make Timetric — a nice RESTful platform for storing, analyzing and visualizing time-series data on the web.
If you’re a blogger, you can then take your data (or delve into the 100,000+ series from the UK and US governments), and embed interactive graphs into your own site, to help back up your argument. For example:
Convinced?
There’s of course a whole load more you can do, like building models and checking for correlations. For more details, check out timetric.com.
I’ll keep this blog around for personal opinions and side-projects, but I suspect I’ll continue to be more active on the timetric blog…
